WAVES Specialists study Link Celestial Navigation ‘Celestial pathfinders’ for other WAVES to follow. 70 Specialists (Teachers) of the Women’s Reserve are now undergoing a 10-weeks course at Navy Link Celestial Navigation Trainer Operators and Maintenance Schools in two widely-separated Naval Air Stations – Quonset Point, R.I., and Seattle, Wash. Upon graduation, they will be qualified to hand along their knowledge to future Navy airmen.
