Ensign Jane Kendeigh, Navy Flight Nurse

Ensign Jane Kendeigh, flight nurse serving in the Pacific from the battle front to Marianas, Hawaii and Mainland with Naval Air Transport Service Pacific Wing Air Evacuation Squadron (VRE-1). She was the first flight nurse to arrive at Okinawa and first at Iwo Jima.
