Army WACs in Australia Playing Ball

Somewhere in Australia, members of the Women’s Army Corps take time out for some exercise. Sports are a favorite of the WACs and they use the parade ground at their WAC Camp for athletic events of all kinds. They were a part of the first group of WACs to be assigned to this theater, arriving in Australia on 12 May 1944.
