U.S. Navy Flight Nurses fly to the Front, April 18, 1945. Pausing at Naval Air Transport Service headquarters on Guam during their long flight to the fighting front in the Pacific, U.S. Navy Flight Nurses are checked in and out of the NATS Planes. They are assisting in the air evacuation of the wounded to the rear area base hospitals, accompanying the casualties on board the hospital planes.
