WACs Celebrate at Swearing-In Ceremony

New members of the Women’s Army Corps throw their hats into the air to celebrate after their formal oath-taking ceremony at Camp Atterbury, Indiana during World War II. As prior members of the Women’s Army Auxiliary Corps, these women had to be inducted to the new Women’s Army Corps, which was formed on July 1, 1943.
