Women Marines Arrive at Cherry Point for Aviation Duty

Seven members of the United States Marine Corps Women’s Reserve arrive from Camp Lejeune, New River, North Carolina, for their first aviation duty at the Marine Corps Air Station at Cherry Point, North Carolina. Tired but enthusiastic, they are shown seated on suitcases and seabags, customarily used in place of trunks in the Marine Corps.
