Ernestine (Robertson) Shea

Ernestine Josephine Robertson was born on Jan. 18, 1913, the youngest of six children, to Ernest and Josephine Robertson of Abington, Massachusetts. She joined the Army Nurse Corps in World War II, and served in North Africa. During her time in service, she was awarded the American Campaign Medal, the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, and the WWII Victory Medal. In 1951 she married her husband Clifford H. Shea; two years later in 1953 she gave birth to their daughter, Karen Mara Shea. Ernestine “Tina” Shea passed away on July 17, 1974.
